Adjusting the Sails

In sailing you are at the mercy of the wind. A skilled sailor will know that to keep moving forward you have to keep adjusting the sails. Their shape and position relative to the wind has to be adjusted again and again and again. Much like in life we want to keep moving forward, so we learn how to adjust the sails to the conditions we find ourselves in. In the middle of 2022 I found myself in completely uncharted territory. Like those who came before me, they taught me how to sail solo.
